CCID is probably the smallest 'chamber of commerce' in the world with less than 600 Members, but in two years time could possibly become the largest 'chamber of commerce' in the world once we have 60,000+ Members.

By contrast, typical chambers of commerce are designated under section 501(C)6 of the IRS codes and must charge membership fees.

Also, in contrast to most chambers of commerce, we are not bound by any geographical limits and appear to be the only chartered Chamber of Commerce for Individuals with DisAbilities in existence.

CCID Membership categories include the following:

• Regular (free)
• Volunteer (time commitment of less than 16 hours)
• Charter (first 1,000 members to volunteer 16 hours)
• Donor (Includes cash or computer donations)
• Supporting
  • Using CCID Affiliate products as a 'Product Tester'
  • Trying to start personal home-based Internet business

A CCID Member could possibly be listed in all Membership categories by:

• Signing up as a Regular Member (at no cost)
• Volunteer Member (at no cost)
• Volunteering 16+ Charter Membership hours (at no cost)
• Recruiting 16 new CCID Members (at no cost)
• Testing an Affiliate's consumer product by using the product
• Starting a personal home-based Internet business using a new Affiliate consumer product, and, finally
• Donating $25+ as a Donor Member using their credit card at Guidestar

CCID does not charge anything for 'Regular' Membership dues.
